DTN COMMENTS: A few scattered deals are being reported in Texas this
morning at fully steady money with yesterday's dealings. But bids in
other areas are hard to find at this point. Asking prices are around
$220-plus in the South, but still not fully established in the North.
Yesterday saw a light trade in Kansas and Texas at $218 to $220, steady
to $2 higher than last week's weighted averages. Beef cutouts are
expected to be higher with light to moderate box movement.

NOTE: Feedlots are encouraged to call DTN with any cattle sales, at
1-402-461-3561. All sales will be listed anonymously and organized by
state. All live sales are FOB and set for 1-9-day delivery. A weekly
summary from this data will be posted on the Weekly Cattle Sales Reported
to DTN page and will be left up for the entire week for reference
purposes.
